The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Environment Protection (DEP) have many laws already on the books, as well as standardized methods of proper disposal of computer and technology equipment. Most folks are simply unaware of these laws, and by failing to follow them they are setting themselves up for possible fines or worse for improper disposal of hazardous wastes such as old CRT monitors. Be sure to review the EPA & DEP guidelines to make sure you don't leave your business vulnerable to regulation enforcement later.
